“My name is Larry Fox, and I decided to become a Personal Trainer about 10 years ago. I have been active most of my life, but struggled with my nutrition. I was working out 3-5 days per week, but wasn’t getting the results I wanted. I came to notice that I wasn’t the only one with this problem. It was then I decided to devote my time to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer.
During my studies, I was able to learn and understand the methodologies and science of fitness training and the physiological and psychological impact it has on our bodies. I wanted to take this knowledge and implement it to improve the lives of others.
When I first began working with clients, I was immediately inspired by their desire, commitment and willingness to improve their quality of life. Each client is different in their own unique way. I love the challenge of designing and implementing a program that is based on their own individual needs.
What I love most about being a Personal Trainer is the gratification and satisfaction I get from watching my clients succeed at achieving their goals. This is very rewarding and is what keeps me motivated and passionate about my career as a Personal Trainer.
One of my favorite quotes about fitness is: ‘Exercise to stimulate, not annihilate. The world wasn’t formed in a day and neither were we. Set small goals and build up them.’ -Lee Haney-”
