When and where
July 4 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. at Delco Park
1700 Delco Park Dr., Kettering, OH 45429
Parking
When you host the biggest party of the year, a lot of people show up! Before you head out to Delco Park, plan your route and where you will park. Even better – walk or ride your bike. Parking inside Delco Park will be limited to guests with a state-issued handicap tag or license plate. Remember that anyone who parks inside Delco Park must wait until pedestrian traffic has cleared before leaving the lot (usually 11 p.m.).
Schedule
Each year, we pour our hearts into planning a fun, active and festive Independence Day celebration for our community. Go 4th offers a DJ, two kid’s play zones and multiple local food trucks in two locations. The full schedule can be found below:
6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Kids Fun Zone
6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Food Trucks
6:00 – 10:00 p.m. DJ Ant
10:00 – 10:30 p.m. Fireworks and drone show
What to bring
Get comfortable and hang out for an entire evening of patriotic fun. Bring chairs, lawn blankets, snacks, refreshments and your camera. Please leave alcohol, sparklers, tents, drones and pets at home. Please check out the new map for updated information on seating restrictions.
Personal Drones
Go 4th is a no drone zone! Due to safety concerns, drones are prohibited from the entire event. You’re welcome to bring handheld cameras and phones to capture the magic. (Please note that police drones will be present, but the public may not bring drones to the event.)
Sparklers
Please leave your sparklers at home. Don’t worry, we’ve got your firework needs covered. We have an awesome fireworks display (coordinated with music!) scheduled to begin at 10 p.m.!
Weather Concerns
Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate, but we don’t let that dampen our spirits. In most cases Go 4th is held rain or shine. However, if the weather looks questionable, check our Facebook page (PlayKettering) or our website (www.playkettering.org) for event updates.
First Aid and Lost Children
Your safety is our number one concern. Kettering Police and Fire Departments will be on hand to assist with any emergencies during the event. If you need help, please come to the white information tent at the top of the hill.
