Are you a student in the Kettering area with a passion for art? Here’s your chance to showcase your talent and celebrate Hispanic culture!
The Kettering Board of Community Relations (BCR) proudly presents the 2024 Hispanic Heritage Art Contest, a vibrant celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month. This exciting competition invites students from grades 6 to 12 to explore and honor the rich artistic traditions of Hispanic and Latinx cultures.
🎨 Contest Details
- Who: Open to all 6th-12th grade students living or attending school in Kettering
- When: Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15, 2024)
- Submission Deadline: Friday, October 11, 2024
- Exhibition: Rosewood Arts Center, October 21 – 26, 2024
- Award Ceremony: Saturday, October 19 at 1:30 p.m.
🏆 Prizes
Cash prizes will be awarded in three age categories:
- 6th – 8th grade
- 9th – 10th grade
- 11th – 12th grade
In each category:
- First Place: $75
- Second Place: $50
- Third Place: $25
