Kelsi isn’t just your average gym employee. For nearly two years, she has woven herself into the fabric of the Kettering Fitness and Wellness Center (KFWC), becoming more than just a friendly face at work. She enjoys listening to the stories our patrons tell. Kelsi says, “Everyone here seems like family and we all have each other’s backs. It is inspiring to see how much everyone cares about each other and how supportive everyone is of each other’s fitness goals. It is also neat to see how much of an impact all the patrons have on each other’s lives. I’m proud to be a part of KFWC!”
One of Kelsi’s favorite memories was when she was working with her wingman, Todd. They were listening to music and then asked the patrons what their favorite songs were. A patron offered to bring in her record set. This allowed her to listen to what she calls “old time music” from a different era! Kelsi’s infectious enthusiasm doesn’t stop there. She even has a fun handshake with one of her favorite patrons, Dan! It’s these little moments, these shared smiles and traditions, that truly define the KFWC experience.
