
Jim joined our fitness family over two years ago after retiring from military service, seeking a convenient place to maintain his active lifestyle. As a USAF attorney practicing criminal and information law, Jim understands the importance of balance in a demanding career.
“Like many people, I’ve experienced issues with depression and anxiety,” Jim shares. “I’ve found that daily workouts improve those issues and give me a sense of overall control in my life. Starting my day at the gym allows me to begin on the right foot.”
Jim’s approach to fitness is refreshingly practical. “Every time I come to the gym, I attempt to make incremental improvements. The real goal is staying active, keeping muscle mass, and gaining flexibility—all part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.”
His ultimate goal? Lifelong fitness. “Being fit allows me to better handle stress, work longer hours, spend quality time with my children, and overall, be a better version of myself—that’s the real goal, being the best version of me that I can be.”
