Our National Park and Recreation Month celebration continues in Kettering! This year’s national theme is “We Are Parks and Recreation.” Resident Jackie Lawless, who serves on Kettering’s Sister Cities Committee, wrote this about her favorite park: “I love Kettering! Lincoln Park is such a treasure! The entire park is well kept with beautiful fountains in the two pools. There is a pond for fishing, no fishing license needed. Beautifully landscaped paths are available for walking. Shaded picnic tables are great for picnicking.” Jackie also loves to bring her granddaughter along for visits to her favorite park.
