The City of Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is looking for civic-minded, passionate residents to help guide the future of our cherished parks, recreation facilities, cultural arts and PRCA programming by serving on the Park Board.

Established in 1954, the PRCA Advisory Board (Park Board) was created to advise and support the parks, recreation and cultural arts programs. The Board also acts as an advisor to the Director of the department and a recommending body to City Council on matters concerning the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Department.

The advisory board also fosters working relationships with schools, community and civic organizations and provides the general public with information and education with regards to parks, recreation and cultural arts programming.

The commitment is modest but the rewards are immense. By lending your skills and enthusiasm to the Board, you can create positive change in Kettering for years to come.
