The Kettering Recreation Complex and Kettering Fitness & Wellness Center offer personal training. Our trainers will work one-on-one with you for maximum results, variety and on-going feedback. First, the trainers will consult with you about your fitness goals, exercise preferences and any time constraints. Next, they'll design a fun and challenging training program that's tailored just for you! Optimum fitness results are obtained through sound, consistent training that is both progressive and varied. As a mom of 2 and a proud military spouse, I understand the demands of balancing work-life. Living with rheumatoid arthritis since age 12, I've learned the importance of resilience and adaptive training. My experience working with active-duty service members to excel at their PT tests has equipped with me with the skills to design personalized fitness plan that push limits. So, whether you're managing a health condition, desiring to strive for peak fitness performance or simply wanting to improve your daily living, I'd be delighted to work with you!

I am an ISSA certified personal trainer and bodybuilding specialist. I will always do my very best to make a workout plan that allows you to achieve your goals. When you work out, you start feeling better about yourself and when you start feeling better about yourself, you start to excel in life. The Balance Professor NASM, National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer, core ‘balance of power’ movement specialist and fitness industry educator. Greg’s evolution into the fitness industry began in 1992 with a personal health revelation and an innovative fitness training internship program featuring leading experts in the areas of track & field, sports medicine, kinesiology and athletic conditioning. Over his 30 plus year career, Greg has provided premier fitness, athletic performance and post-rehab fitness training services to a host of clients in Dayton, Chicago, Los Angeles, NYC, San Diego, Madrid, Spain and Saudi Arabia. An avid sports and music fan, Greg enjoys painting, photography and is a musician.

I think the most important aspect of personal training is to meet people where they are, have a conversation and learn from them what their goals are, what do they want to do moving forward, and let the client take ownership of the process so they feel more empowered in what they are doing. Everyone is different and therefore each training plan is different, while maintaining the basics and fundamentals of movement and strength building. I have been a trainer for 9 years, ACE Certified and I love to see people reach their goals while gaining more confidence in getting better every single day. I have worked with young and old, male and female, individually and in groups and there is nothing better than seeing the smiles due to the continual improvement that my clients make as they get more comfortable and confident in the progress that they make.
Through my 10 years of being a personal trainer, I have never had two clients that have been alike. Each client is different in their own unique way. It is my job as a trainer to research and educate myself to meet the needs of a client who has a certain injury, disease or medical condition. This allows me to design a safe, proper and effective program. I’m able to put myself in the shoes of my client and see things from their perspective in order to build their confidence and comfort level. I also enjoy making my workouts fun by playing certain fitness games or including small challenges within a workout. This, with enthusiasm, keeps my clients motivated and builds adherence to a workout regimen.

With expertise in Parkinson's training, HIIT, circuit and strength training and mobility, I equip clients with diverse strategies for physical movement. I take pride in my ability to help my clients set goals, shape new behaviors, and ultimately, reap the rewards that maintaining an active lifestyle has to offer. Part of what I love most about being a personal trainer is the lasting relationships I build with each client and getting to witness their growth throughout their programs. Outside of my professional career, I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, DIY and working out. I first discovered my passion for training after embarking on a journey to improve my own health and wellness. With more than eight years of personal training experience, I am passionate about sharing the benefits of healthy living with others.
Utilizing a combination of my certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and 10 years of lifting and athletic experience, I strive to do my very best in helping my clients make sustainable changes. Additionally, I emphasize making these changes to their diet and gym habits, as well as their lives as a whole. I work not only with general weight loss and strength based clients, but also those striving to increase their athletic capability.
I became passionate about strength training in 2001 when I was coached by a competitive lifter who taught me the importance of good form for prevention of injury and the methods of heavy resistance training. In 2017/2018, I worked hard to achieve a new level of performance and was featured in a fitness magazine as an amateur weight lifter. I began indoor cycling eight years ago and fell in love with the group fitness environment. I was recently certified in Rowing, which is uniquely challenging - offering synchronized team movement and a surprisingly serene state of mind. I strongly believe in the biopsychosocial model of wellbeing & I hope you allow me the opportunity to help you reach your goals.

Group Personal Training (two to three people)
Our group training offers the benefits of personal training with a group dynamic and a wallet-friendly fee structure. In addition to a certified trainer, group personal training offers a great way to get fit with friends and hold each other accountable.
