Indian Riffle Shelter #1 (large): Electric with 4 outlets and holds 10-15 tables and seats up to 120 people.
Indian Riffle Shelter #2 (small): Holds 10-15 tables and seats up to 120 people. Closest to playground equipment and wheelchair accessible.
Indian Riffle Shelter #3 (large): Electric with 4 outlets and holds 175 people. Wheelchair accessible.
Lathrem Garden Plaza: Electric with 2 outlets and holds 6-8 tables and seats up to 50-75 people. There is a wood burning fireplace and water access/fountain. The immediate surrounding area offers a 3-hole putting green, shuffleboard courts and bench overlook swings available for public use. Restrooms can be accessed via the Kettering Recreational Complex during open hours and parking for this shelter is shared with the Adventure Reef Water Park.
Chemical toilets (open year-round), permanent restrooms (open seasonally), barbecue grills, a grass volleyball court, playground equipment and a drinking fountain are available nearby. Parking for 150 cars is a short distance away. The shelters are surrounded by large, mature trees. Additional tables and grills are available in Indian Riffle’s picnic area on a first-come, first-served basis for individuals or families not reserving a shelter. The restrooms are a short walk from the picnic shelters and play area. This may present a problem for those persons who have difficulty walking.
