Spring is finally here, and summer camp will be here before you know it! We can’t wait to welcome your family back to camp. If you register your child for one of our summer camps, you’ll receive an important message from the ePACT system. Curious about how we collect health history information? Read on to learn more.
New to ePACT?
ePACT is a secure emergency network that we use to collect medical and emergency contact information electronically for summer camps. Not only does ePACT replace paper forms, but it also gives us a way to communicate with your family in the event of an illness, injury or schedule change.
Using ePACT is easy and secure! Here’s how it works:
- After registering for camp, you will receive an email invite to share information with PlayKettering. If you don’t receive an email, please check your spam folder and also verify that we have the correct email address on file for you by calling the Kettering Recreation Complex at 937-296-2587.
- Click ‘Complete Request’ to create a free account, or log-in if you already have an existing ePACT account.
- Then you’ll enter the required information, like medical conditions, and share it with us so that our program staff have access.
ePACT makes it easy for patrons to share emergency information with us, while also ensuring we have access to records anytime, anywhere.
Returning to ePACT?
If you enrolled in camp during a previous season, you might be wondering why you’re getting a new ePACT request. At the end of every season, your dependent’s record is disconnected from PlayKettering as per ePACT’s terms of use and privacy policy.
This means that every year, you’ll be asked to confirm that all the information is still up-to-date and then to share this information for the current season.
If you entered this information last year, it will be pre-populated in all of the steps. Only new questions and waivers (Informed Consent) will need to be answered. If nothing has changed, it will take you less than 30 seconds to complete the form in a subsequent year.
Simply select your dependent, and click on Continue on each step until you get to the final Complete Info step, where you’ll need to Share with us to give PlayKettering access to your dependent’s record for this year/season. Learn more about reconfirming your record.
Is the information I submit through ePACT secure?
Absolutely! You always own your account and the information in it. Plus, ePACT maintains the same levels of security as online banking, and limits access only to the administrators for enhanced privacy. Rest assured that your information will remain protected.
